Workshop with Doc L Guitar Guru Saturday October 17 2-4pm Greenville NC

Everyone's favorite Evans St hang, the Tipsy Teapot, is hosting a guitar workshop from 2-4pm on Saturday October 17 with Laura McLean, Guitar Guru of the Lower Cape Fear. McLean has been a stalwart of the Carolina singer-songwriter circuit for years, and a well-known guitar player and teacher. She is now rehearsing with long-time mates Calamity, playing guitar behind Greenville's own fab Someone's Sister, and releasing a solo disc entitled: The Orignal L.

It's homecoming, so come home to your inner guitar god/goddess/nebulous non-diety!

Every question will be answered. El will cover the age-old topic fingers-versus-pick, pain and chords, playing lead like Jimi,
all-purpose campfire strums, and writing your own songs. Beginners and well-seasoned players are encouraged to come and bring your guitars.
